The Shop Up

I have been meaning to venture to London for awhile now with the husband and when I found out that The Shop Up would be on in May, I decided that it would be the perfect excuse to go.

So, my husband, eldest son and I travelled up for the weekend and had a great time.

Obviously, my planning didn’t go too much to plan as during dinner at Jamie Oliver’s on the Saturday evening, I may have had one too many glasses of wine and unfortunately, thought it best to leave going until the morning.

But then we got up late, of course, and realised that we didn’t have a huge amount of time before we had to get the train back home.

I did make it to The Shop Up eventually though, complete with luggage, a hangover and a skinny latte in hand.

It was a brief visit unfortunately but one that I’m happy to have experienced.

I even managed to take a few picture’s along the way.

It was lovely to see all these beautiful independent shop’s all come together under one roof and I was feeling very inspired.

It was nice to see brand’s that I recognised from online and to be introduced to new ones.

So many beautiful thing’s for mum, child and baby.

I’m really excited and looking forward to the Christmas Shop Up in December.

This fantastic event is run by three stylish mama’s and co-  founder’s of Babyccino Kids in where you can find all of these beautiful shop’s on their site.

One day a little girl awoke,

Sat up and rubbed her eyes,

And got a BIG surprise!

The little girl who lost her name takes your little one on a beautiful and magical adventure meeting wonderful character’s along the way. All in search for her lost name.

Watch your little ones face light up as they find each letter of their name throughout the story.

This personalised book was lovingly created to inspire the imagination of children and warm the heart’s of parent’s.

No wonder it has sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

My daughter really enjoyed reading this book and got so excited when she saw her name.

She had helped me choose the character online that she wanted so it definitely made the book more special to her.

The illustration’s and the use of bright colours on each page is simply beautiful and captivating.

What I also love is the quality of the paper that has been used for the book.

It is definitely a storybook that will stand proud in the kid’s library for a long time.

Milly’s Kidchup

I was recently sent this super alternative to Ketchup for kid’s.
Like most kid’s, my children love their Ketchup but the sugar content in it is so high that in the back of my mind, I do sometimes worry about them having so much and try to limit it as best that I can.

I then discovered whilst delving deep into the wonderful world of Instagram, Milly’s Kidchup.

A tasty, nutritional supplement for Ketchup without all of the bad stuff.

The ingredients are as simple and refreshing including Apples, Lemons, Garlic, Tomatoes.

Founder and creater of Kidchup is mama of one, Milly Cundall.

Seeing there was a gap in the market for an alternative Ketchup for little ones without high levels of refined sugar and salt content included, Milly’s Ketchup was established and is growing from strength to strength.

My three children really enjoyed it and we even used it as an alternative pasta sauce which worked really great too.

You can buy Milly’s Kidchup online here.

Pop Pops -Little Dish

I was recently sent some deliciously tasty treat’s to try out from Little Dish.

They send me their latest addition to the Little Dish family in the name of Chickpea Pop Pops along with some super cute stickers in which my 5 year old stole straight away. Sticker crazy she is!!

Pop Pops are a brand new savoury snack for little ones that are light and crispy but packed full of protein and high in fibre.

They contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and are completely gluten free. They are also significantly lower in salt than compared to other leading brand crisps aimed for children.

Available in Original, cheese (my personal favourite) tomato and sweet red pepper, there is a flavour for everyone.

They are the healthy alternative snack for your little one and even adults.  I’m munching on some now as I write this. Healthy, light and delicious.

Pop Pops are the perfect accompaniment for lunchboxes, picnics and birthday parties.

I also love the fact that you can reseal the packet with a fun character sticker.
My kid’s are definitely giving Pop Pops a big thumb’s up as they really enjoyed them.

You can find Pop Pop’s stocked in the baby aisle in Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s.

Gurrr… Bear Treat’s

I have had the pleasure of being sent some delicious and tasty treat’s from a company which I am sure that most of you will recognise, especially if you have little ones.

Bear Nibbles come in different shapes such as Claws where you can create your own little scary monster with the fruit pieces that are very cleverly shaped into Monster part’s. Then there are the Yoyo shaped ones which are my children’s particular favourite as they love to pull, tear and gobble them up and the fact that they come with a free Bear card to collect is an absolute bonus.

We were introduced to their Sour Yoyo shaped ones which the kid’s really enjoyed. What is with kid’s and anything sour?

There are so many different types of flavours to choose from too such as  Strawberry and Butternut , Mango and Carrot, Blackcurrant and lots more. So there is definitely something to suit everyone.

There is no added sugar and are counted as your 1 of 5 a day.

They are also vegan and gluten free.

With their bright and fun packaging, there is no doubt that Bear was definitely made with little people in mind but I also find that these are perfect treat’s for mum’s and dad’s to snack on as well.

So pop a few packet’s into your bag and enjoy!
